From Modena, the Leonardi family has been producing balsamic vinegar for four generations.
The century-long tradition requires the wine must to be obtained from the grapes and put in small wooden barrels used for a specific process: acidification (vinegar making), maturation and ageing.
As per the DOP production statement, this product is made of 100% cooked grape musts of Modena area, aged for at least 25 years in wood barrels. Minimum density 1.24. Minimum acidity 4,5%. Bottled in Modena using the exclusive 100ml jar and sealed with a numbered tag as a guarantee for the Protected Denomination of Origin (PDO)
