Description
Harvest:
Manual harvest when the right balance between acids, sugars and pH is reached, usually between the end of September and the beginning of October.
Perfume: Ample and persistent expression of white flowers, white fruit and citrus fruit with a mineral note.
Flavour: A very drinkable, pleasant wine that is balanced, sapid, harmonic and fresh, with a lingering almond aftertaste.
Verdicchio vineyards are located in the hilly hinterland of central Le Marche. Soil consistency is medium tending to clayey, with southwest exposure.
“Vinification” goes through various phases: pressing of clusters, extraction of grape must, cleaning of the must followed by static and cold decantation, and thermo-controlled fermentation. Refinement period lasts three months in steel and two months in bottle.
Pairings:
Deal with hot and cold appetizers, first courses in white sauces and mushroom-based dishes, plus seafood.
This product is supplied currently in an amphora bottle.
