The origin is certainly from Napoli.
The name, that in Italian language sounds extremely onomatopoeic, apparently derives from paccarià, or slapping.
Our bronze item, up today also in the ridged version, has a size that is commonly very appreciated and offer them with mullet in tomato sauce, flavoured with parsley.
